Announcements – March 7

Ordination and Installation of Erik McDaniel...Today, during the worship service, a commission from Evangel presbytery will install Erik as The Assistant Pastor of Faith Presbyterian Church. We will have a luncheon in Erik’s honor after the worship service in the gym. No Sunday School classes will meet today.

Today we welcome Reverend Mike Sloan ...as he preaches during our worship service. Mike and his wife Emily are former members of Faith, and during their time with us, both taught at Faith Christian School and Mike served as Church Summer Intern. Their children are Anna, Elanor, Lucy and Matilda.

Congregational Prayer Time…Come join us as we pray on Wednesday nights this month at 6:30 p.m. in the gym. We’ll be praying about our church finances, marriages, and how God can use us to straighten our city.

Keenagers…will meet this Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Anniston Western Sizzlin’.

Spring Campout... It looks like the winter is thawing and it's time to head to the Great Outdoors!  All Youth Groupers and any interested parents are invited to Campout at the Smith property in Cleburne County on Friday March 12-13.  The Girls will bunk in the cabin, while the guys will  be tenting it.    Bring or borrow an Airsoft gun if you have the inclination. No cost. Food will be provided, but please let Dameon/Lauren know ASAP if attending for a head count.  We will leave from the church at 4pm, but if you need to come on your own (sports game, etc.) there is a map and directions in church office.  Note - Facilities listed in the property amenities translate to: Outhouse!  See you there!

FPC Photo Album Session… will be held on March 11 at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary. We want to get the Church Photo Albums up to date and we need your help! You do not have to have scrapbooking experience to help get these albums up to date! We would like to know how many are willing to help so a sign in sheet will be on the counter in the church kitchen. Bring snacks to share, drinks will be provided.  Thank you for your willingness to help, FPC WIC Leadership (Alice, Mary, Lisa, Tammy & Eliska)

Ladies Book Club… We will finish up the last 3 books in A Lineage of Grace, by Francine Rivers. We will meet Thursday, March 18, at the home of Deby Buchanan at 6:00 P.M. Come and join us as we discuss the lives of important women in the lineage of Christ.

The Edge Conference… Please let Erik know as soon as possible if you are interested in going. Reservations must be secured soon because the conference is filling up quickly. If you plan on attending, a deposit of $50 is due now. Please make checks payable to FPC.
