Men’s Retreat Shocco Springs... “Leading Your Church/Family in Prayer” This year’s retreat will be lead by Wally Mertz, a ruling elder from Altadeena Presbyterian Church. We will focus on what the Lord’s prayer teaches us about Kingdom Centered praying and how this should affect our prayers as individuals, families and as a church. The retreat will be January 23-24 (Friday evening and Saturday morning). The cost is $70, which will cover dinner and lodging Friday night, breakfast Saturday morning, and your materials. Wednesday Night Family Night Supper...We will resume our monthly Wednesday Night Family Supper on January 7^th. We meet at 6:00 p.m. This is a covered dish meal . . . drinks will be provided. Set-up and clean-up for this supper is the responsibility of the Ladies Monday Morning Bible Study.

Ordination and Installation of new deacons January 11^th... On this Lord’s Day, during the worship service, David Miller and Shannon Robertson will take their vows for the office of deacon and be ordained by our elders. Pray for these men as they begin this new aspect of their lives in the Kingdom of God.

Ladies Bible Study…The Tuesday Ladies Bible Study group will continue to meet at Kathryn’s from 10:00 am until noon each Tuesday, beginning January 13.

Installation of Reverend Steve Mayes on January 25^th...On this Lord’s Day, during the worship service, a commission from Evangel presbytery will install Steve as The Assistant Pastor of Church Planting at Faith Presbyterian Church. We will have a reception in Steve’s honor after the worship service. No Sunday School classes will meet this day.
